The Battlebeats

The Battlebeats is a one-man garage rock project of Andresa Nugraha from Bandung, Indonesia, launched in 2019. Heavily influenced by 90s Japanese and American garage punk bands, The Battlebeats is known for its simple, raw sound. Andresa records everything by himself using only a guitar and a floor-snare drum set, deliberately omitting bass to maintain a stripped-down energy.

The Battlebeats self-released its debut, self-titled EP in 2019, followed by its first full-length album, “Search And Destroy,” in the following year. Both releases were reissued on vinyl overseas, garnering the band more attention from international garage rock fans.

Between 2022 and 2023, The Battlebeats released a series of 7" singles on various indie labels in the US, including Otitis Media Records, Big Neck Records, Post Party Depression Records, and Chickpea Records.

In 2024, The Battlebeats released its sophomore LP, “Meet Your Maker,” through the Nashville-based Sweet Time Records, marking a significant milestone four years after the first full-length album.
