The Bell debuted in 2008 with the album Make Some Quiet on American Bad Man Recordings (Mark Kozelek, My Morning Jacket, etc.).

Already at Make Some Quiet, the trio from Malmö and Stockholm showed that they handled both melody and drum-driven beats with great skill.
While being classic pop the music also worked well on the dance floors, which was quickly confirmed when international DJs like Zombie Disco Squad, DJ Candle in the wind (Vilunki 3000 of Uusi Fantasia / Op: l Bastard), Hatchmatik, Team Skidoo, C90s, Mixhell and Disk-Jocke adopted the band's songs.

The sequel, Great Heat is a more ambitious album with more parts and details. The members with history from both studies and practics of art wanted to make an album where the whole is bigger than the parts. The album is a work of art and at the same time built on distinctly strong parts - just listen to songs like Whatever Did You Say, Today, and Throw Me A Bone.

When The Bell released Great Heat as well as Your Fair Share of The Bell, they did so with the whole world as a playing field.

Indie blogs have raised The Bell to the skies and producers for youth TV shows have used the band's music.
The Bells songs have been heard in Vampire Diaries, Kyle XY, MTV's Jersey Shore, Greek, No Ordinary Family, Teen Wolf among other internationally broadcasted TV shows.

The Bell have constantly turned down great English managers and great tours. They have a very special agenda, which few outsiders really understand.
