The Brave is a four-piece punk / rock & roll band from the Netherlands. After having released their first EP ‘See The Elephant’ in the fall of 2011, they plunged into a very exciting year. The EP presents a band going full throttle with their raw and melodious punk / rock & roll. Playing over more than 50 shows in 2012 they delivered utterly convincing and energizing performances along the way.
In the fall of 2012 The Brave recorded their second EP, entitled ‘Lift The Curtain’. Five new songs that testify to the scope of their songwriting and still very much Brave, yet you will find added spacier sounds and groovier rhythms.
Not long after the release the band split up.
In 2018 a part of the former Brave started a new band called Mikki Wood.
