Melbourne post-hardcore outfit The City have just dropped the much anticipated follow up release to ‘SUSPENDED’, via new NuMetal single “𝐄𝐗-𝐏𝐈𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐃𝐎𝐂𝐈𝐎𝐔𝐒 (𝐍𝐖𝐆𝐅𝐅𝐎)”
The City thrive on big hookey choruses, two-steppin’ breakdowns, synth and pop sensabilities woven through both heavy and clean guitar tones. ‘EX-PIALIDOCIOUS’’ showcases a new colourway in The City’s usual palette of party vibes fused with healthy doses of both tasteful and outrageous Solos. EX-P, marks the 3rd of 3 New singles, Recorded earlier this year, and the first New music since the release of their sophomore Neon Dream LP. All 3 tracks were recorded, mixed and mastered by long time friends and studio pals The Loud Noise Estate.
Since launching in 2015, The City have been consistently writing, recording, and evolving their sound. After releasing two EPs in as many years, the band headed to Nashville to record their 2017 full-length Light The Flame, with Sonny Truelove (Polaris, Young Lions).
