The Clinton Authority is a band with a loosely defined amount of members that was formed by a group of high school friends in Maryland.
From late 2017 to 2018 the group found a passion for creating music in a self-titled project, <a href="spotify:album:68oiiw72l6T0Fx2kx5Rs3m" data-name="The Clinton Authority">The Clinton Authority</a>, which is an entire album dedicated to their English teacher who engaged their love for music and from whom's first name the band got its own name. The first project went on to receive some local and even international attention in certain online publications. Today, the band looks upon this project with nostalgia, knowing that they have grown since while acknowledging that this was their origin story which makes them unique.
From the summer of 2018 towards the end of the year, the band began working on another project, aiming at defining their place in music and improving drastically on their previous work. The group believes to have accomplished these goals with the release of their sophomore album, <a href="spotify:album:0zMZpEOeDN9NF8fCDnj28r" data-name="Photographic Memories">Photographic Memories</a>, in October 2018.
