The Color Red is an edgy Southern California fivesome that first started in 1994. The group gigged with artists like <a href="spotify:artist:0cQbJU1aAzvbEmTuljWLlF">No Doubt</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:6Ghvu1VvMGScGpOUJBAHNH">the Deftones</a> in their early stages, but didn't get around to a debut album until 1999, when they recorded Below the Under. The album was released the following year, and they spent time on the road getting to know one another better and becoming a tighter outfit.
