Based in Mexico City, the project was forged in the friction between Buffalo’s Rust Belt grit and the vibrant "Wall of Sound" of the CDMX underground.
Founded by award-winning novelist and optioned screenwriter Jon LaPoma (Warren Zide—American Pie, Final Destination), the music is a theatrical expansion of his literary roots. After a decade-long battle with OCD, LaPoma moved to Mexico in 2019, weaponizing that history into "Aural Three-Act Plays"—epic psychological journeys through mental illness, addiction, and identity.
In 2020, the project’s scope expanded when LaPoma joined forces with CDMX composer Oscar Díaz. A graduate of UNAM’s Facultad de Música, Díaz’s background as a film composer is essential to the band’s DNA, providing the virtuosic piano arrangements and complex structures that anchor LaPoma’s raw storytelling.
This cinematic utility has triggered a global resonance: the catalog has surpassed 10,000 organic creator stories, recently peaking at 962 unique uses in a single week across Norway, Brazil, and the U.S (for Silence - 2025 version).

The message is one of radical hope—moving toward suffering to find peace.
