The Cruel Knives are a British rock band known for their energetic and passionate live performances, often described as a mix of hard rock, post-grunge, and alternative. Live reviews frequently highlight their musicianship, stage presence, and ability to engage.
Formed by vocalist Tom Harris, guitarist Sid Glover, bassist Rob Ellershaw and drummer Al Junior. They released their debut E.P, “Side One” in 2017 with the follow up EP, “Side Two” landing in 2019 after touring Europe extensively with The Pretty Reckless. Featuring the lead single, “Hollow People” it received over 2 million streams.
In 2021 the band released the stand alone single, “The Life That We Made” and continued to build their reputation on the live circuit. After the success of their first appearance the band were invited back for a second tour with The Pretty Reckless across Europe. Autumn 2022 saw the release of the single "Overdose".
“All Your Heroes Hate You” came in spring 2023 fresh off the back of their first UK headline tour.
After touring throughout 2023 the band released the next stand alone track, "Nail Them To The Walls" before going back into the studio.
2024 saw the release of more new music, kicking off with the track "Itchy Trigger Finger". The band then headed out on their second and biggest UK headline tour to date.
The Cruel Knives have since been making a brand new EP, scheduled for release later in 2025, and have announced that they will be touring the UK in Oct with Dead Posey
