“The Defibs”, or ‘The Fibbys’ as their fans call them, weave together an eclectic mix of surf, blues and indie rock that captures the Zeitgeist, all while delivering electrifying live performances.
The Fibbys started with Sam, (vocals & guitar) Mac (drums) and Jackson, (guitar & backup) covering songs from Skegss, Spacey Jane and The Grogans. Hannah (bass) came on board after she and Sam covered a Teenage Dads song and grabbed the attention of the band who loved their cover.
They gained 4,500 followers on Tik Tok after an acoustic cover they made in their school's hallway of Freaks by Surf Curse went viral with 1.2 Million views in 2 weeks.
