The Drugstore Gypsies are a rock band that was formed around the southwest region of Houston Texas in March of 2014. Derived from many eras of rock and roll music the Gypsies influences span from Led Zeppelin to Motley Crue, to the Black Crows, and onward. Throughout their years of playing and recording music the band has settled into their very own unique niche with a sound unlike any other, but slightly resemblant of so many of the greats before them. This truly is a group of guys that looks beyond the curve and follows no predetermined path. DSG sets out to set their own trends.
The band has done extensive touring all around their home state as well as many other states across the nation. They've shared the stage with many of the greats in Texas Music, Rock and Roll, Outlaw Country, and every obscure band out there. They set a high standard of entertainment at their live show, and refuse to let anyone leave without their minds blown. The guys are as genuine as their love for music and are continuing to blaze the trail to success.
