If there was ever a time that country music needed a duo like The Dryes, it’s now. Since launching in 2018, The Dryes (husband & wife) have caught the attention of USA Today, Rolling Stone, People, American Songwriter, Billboard, among others, and have gained thousands of fans & followers along the way.
In addition to their own touring schedule, the pair will perform in Dolly Parton’s Threads: My Songs in Symphony, a show co-produced by Dolly Parton herself. This show will tour across country. They were recognized by Country Living Magazine as “The new hot country duo to watch” after premiering on Season 22 of NBC’s The Voice. Their sassy single “Dolly Would” and their soulful “House on Fire” both achieved the remarkable feat of reaching #1 on CMT’s 12 Pack Countdown by fan voting.
The Dryes have toured with Jo Dee Messina as direct support on her national “Heads Carolina, Tails California Tour.” While on the road, Derek landed a spot as an official PRS Guitars artist.
Their latest two EPs, “Raisin’ Beers & Hallelujahs” and “Dear Heart”, show the full spectrum of who they are. Their single “daydrinkin’” charted on iTunes release day and has garnered over 5 million views on social media. With an exciting year in play, there is no stopping this pair.
