Ambient duo the Dylan Group teamed Dylan Cristy (a noted jungle DJ as well as co-founder of the New York-based Bubble Core label) and Adam Pierce (also known for his work as the anagrammatic Mice Parade). Set apart from their contemporaries by their use of live instruments -- primarily vibraphone and drums -- the Dylan Group appeared on a handful of compilations, as well as a split release with H.I.M., before issuing their full-length debut It's All About (rimshots and faulty wiring) in 1998. Re-Interpreted, a collection of remixes by the likes of Bundy K. Brown and Nobukazu Takemura, followed later that year, and in 1999 the Dylan Group (now a four-piece additionally featuring Scott McGovern and Tyler Pistilli) resurfaced with More Adventures in Lying Down. Ur-Klang Search appeared a year later. ~ Jason Ankeny, Rovi
