With tons of energy, honest lyrics, big choruses, and harmonies within a playful and aggressive pop soundscape, The Ella Sisters consists of Norwegian twins Maren and Charlotte. Growing up along the southern coast of Norway, the sisters have had space for creativity and writing. Their songs are inspired by being young and questioning the world we live in, bringing up subjects like identity, mental health, friendship, love, being underestimated, and finding confidence in yourself. Their music expresses courage and tenderness. The band has played showcases in the UK and Norway, and The Ella Sisters was a fresh act entering the pop scene in 2020. Gaining attention from Dork Magazine for their single James Dean and Norwegian P3 for Miss The Most, they released their debut EP Queens which was suggested by Billboard among new releases. Their sophomore EP Sugarcoat is coming this spring.
