Kaja Rode is a singer-songwriter known for her dynamic and expressive vocals. She gained national and international attention when she participated in the Eurovision national selection competition, Melodi Grand Prix (MGP), in 2021 with her song <a href="spotify:album:30djRvTVxIhsW8hM6o6euB" data-name="Feel Again">Feel Again</a>.
After her appearance on MGP, Kaja Rode released her first collaboration with international songwriters, a song called <a href="spotify:album:5ouBRvcpJQpolsgGKxfRJu" data-name="Your Mind">Your Mind</a>, which was listed on NRK P3 Urørt and used in an NRK series.
When she was 18, all the mentors on The Voice turned their chairs on her blind audition, and she finished top 4 on Team Yosef (<a href="spotify:artist:6c4sUNBgdonFJz8Kx2VsGz" data-name="Madcon">Madcon</a>).
Inspired by the likes of <a href="spotify:artist:2wY79sveU1sp5g7SokKOiI" data-name="Sam Smith">Sam Smith</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:45dkTj5sMRSjrmBSBeiHym" data-name="Tate McRae">Tate McRae</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:1Cs0zKBU1kc0i8ypK3B9ai" data-name="David Guetta">David Guetta</a>, she is writing organic, modern pop music, focusing on great melodies and heartfelt lyrics.
In October 2023, she released her new single, «What Would She Say», written with Finnish producer <a href="spotify:artist:3ukSocEZGZg4r5RsGaH7Ie" data-name="Alisky">Alisky</a> and British songwriter <a href="spotify:artist:31bkgXHo67awewnmvrdsah" data-name="Katie Sky">Katie Sky</a>. More songs will come in 2024.
