The End of America (TEOA) is James Downes, Trevor Leonard, and Brendon Thomas: best friends who met on the road and found a kindred spirit in one another. TEOA weaves three distinct lead vocals into captivating harmonies over a solid foundation of folk, rock and Americana. The Northeast based trio credit their name to Jack Kerouac’s ‘On The Road,’ from a passage about traveling in search of inspiration until they reach “the end of America, no more land, and… nowhere to go but back.” In 2022, cellist Katie Weissman became a fourth member of TEOA, adding emotive layers and sonic depth to the music that can be heard on their latest album, 'Night Is Alive.’ Named Best Alt-Country album of 2021 by the venerable No Depression magazine, Amos Perrine writes, “their three-part harmony could well be the best since Crosby, Stills & Nash.”
