A London-based trio of Scots (hence their name), the Exiles consisted of vocalist Enoch Kent, who already had a formidable reputation as a singer and had formed the pioneering modern Scottish folk group the Reivers in the 1950's; Glasgow-born guitarist Bobby Campbell, a veteran of skiffle bands in the 1950's, and harmonica player Gordon McCulloch. Formed in the mid-1960's, they recorded for the Topic Records label. ~ Bruce Eder, Rovi
