The Façade

Pop, rock and a tinge of blues, along with melodic tropes and groovy beats - this is what the four-piece alternative pop band, The Façade, prides their signature music flavor as.

In September 2016, the band dropped their debut original single ‘Better Than This’ which topped the overall iTunes chart at #2 within the first day of its release. This was subsequently followed by succeeding singles, ‘Victim’ and ‘White’, which claimed #4 on the iTunes alternative chart and Spotify’s Viral 50 chart respectively.

The successful release of the band’s singles quickly led to the launch of their long awaited debut EP ‘Vanity’ in July 2017.

The Façade staged their first overseas performance in 2017 at ChengDu International Sister Cities Youth Music Festival as the sole Singapore music act.

The band performed at Starker Music Carnival 2017, sharing the same stage as the other local acts and performed their chart-topping originals, scoring new fans for themselves.

Entering 2018, The Façade was selected to represent Singapore to compete for the Asian Supernova Award at the Hong Kong Asian Pop Music Festival 2018, alongside with artistes from 7 other participating countries and regions: the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea and Thailand. Shortly after the event, the band’s song ‘Better Than This’ claimed #7 spot on the iTunes Top 200 Tracks in the Hong Kong Alternative Chart.
