The Feather returns in 2025 with BB, an intimate album exploring love, fatherhood, and family. Led by Thomas Medard (<a href="spotify:artist:5pEzNHQvHWJ3f3Z61w1g93" data-name="Dan San">Dan San</a>), the project blends delicate pop and indie orchestration, embodying personal and universal sensitivity.

To create this third album, Thomas collaborated with Chris Taylor (<a href="spotify:artist:2Jv5eshHtLycR6R8KQCdc4" data-name="Grizzly Bear">Grizzly Bear</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6fLrPFLWLSCrp7gcTZXcKb" data-name="Twin Shadow">Twin Shadow</a>) and traveled across Europe and the U.S., recording in studios in Liège, Barcelona, Madrid, and Los Angeles. Kyle Crane (<a href="spotify:artist:6u11Qbko2N2hP4lTBYjX86" data-name="Peter Bjorn and John">Peter Bjorn and John</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6nXSnNEdLuKTzAQozRtqiI" data-name="M. Ward">M. Ward</a>) produced drums, while Thomas Hedlund (<a href="spotify:artist:1xU878Z1QtBldR7ru9owdU" data-name="Phoenix">Phoenix</a>) contributed percussion in Sweden. Grammy-winning engineer Joe Laporta (David Bowie, Vampire Weekend) mixed the album.

Thomas, also a graphic designer, crafted a striking visual identity for BB, incorporating glitch kitsch. Each track features a different filmmaker’s music video, expanding The Feather’s artistic universe.

After two albums and multiple film soundtracks in 2023-2024, Thomas poured his energy into BB, now signed to Dutch label PolyMoon. The live band includes Simon Fontaine (<a href="spotify:artist:50KI9424n5FMCX9zY2JFcH" data-name="Pale Grey">Pale Grey</a>) and Antoine Bonan (<a href="spotify:artist:2J6FSVBM3FWvtzLMMUFUiJ" data-name="Nicolas Michaux">Nicolas Michaux</a>). Following a successful European tour, BB continues The Feather’s journey, praised by the international press for its finesse and beauty.
