Manchester-born twins George and Henry Flint formed The Flints as an escape from their behind-
the-scenes careers producing and writing for artists like Jean Dawson, Deb Never, Melanie
Martinez and Lil Yachty.
Growing up between Manchester and Europe, the brothers developed their musical bond early—
swapping songs on a family computer and jamming through bedroom walls—before honing their
style in various bands. During lockdown, they returned home and began crafting songs just for
themselves. What emerged was a signature sound—vivid, genre-blurring pop with soul, indie and
electronic roots. Their debut single ‘Serengeti’ and EPs 100 Million Lightyears and Midnight
Sunrise captured that alchemy.
Now, with 21st Century Love, they evolve further. The EP blends woozy synths, raw live energy,
and stripped-back moments showcasing their individual voices. Single ‘The End is the End’ is both
a creative breakthrough and emotional reset, while collaborations with Justice (including
‘Mannequin Love’) push them into new sonic territory. What began as a reaction to creative
restriction has become a project full of freedom, clarity, and a rare musical chemistry only twins
could share. The Flints are your favourite band’s favourite band. In 2025, they may just become
yours too.
