The Flirts are one of the most recognizable female dance-pop groups to emerge from New York City's vibrant Hi-NRG scene of the 1980s. Known for enduring club anthems including "Danger," "Jukebox (Don't Put Another Dime), Passion" and the Billboard Dance chart-topper "You & Me," the group became an international sensation, earning heavy MTV rotation and building a devoted worldwide fan base.
Since joining The Flirts in 1984, Christina Criscione has become the group's longest-serving lead vocalist and its most enduring artistic presence. Over four decades, she has recorded the majority of the group's lead vocals across three studio albums, toured extensively throughout the United States, Europe, and South America, and has remained at the forefront of The Flirts' evolution while preserving the energy and spirit that made the group a dance music favorite.
Today, Christina leads The Flirts alongside the current live lineup, continuing to celebrate the group's iconic catalog while introducing its music to new generations of fans through live performances and new recordings. More than forty years after their debut, The Flirts remain a beloved name in dance-pop, bridging the legacy of the classic Hi-NRG era with an exciting new chapter.
