The Gliding Faces

Hi! We’re Max and Dan and together, we are The Gliding Faces.
From September 2019, we worked on an album that fuses the alternative, the electronic, the dance and pop genres together for a listening experience that is haunting, thought-provoking and dark, but somehow reassuring, witty and, above all, enjoyable.

With thirteen tracks on the album, Max lends his emotive writing skills and gorgeous voice, while Dan brings production, backing vocals and a hooky, infectious pop sensibility to the music.
Friday 10th December saw the release of the debut album, <a href="spotify:album:43C55uRpXtzzmR9e2291wd" data-name="Dark Matters">Dark Matters</a>. On the day, there was The Gliding Faces album party.

November 18th saw the release of The Gliding Faces’ covers album, <a href="spotify:album:7rDf0uHErFvJskydl3xate" data-name="On the Nose">On the Nose</a>. This album features songs originally by Liza Minnelli, Pet Shop Boys, Kate Bush, Erasure, Madonna, Eurythmics, Dido and more!

Since 2021, Max and Dan have been working on their second original studio album. It is finally finished!
The new album runs for nearly fifty minutes across twelve tracks and is described by Max as “fresher and lighter” than its predecessor, Dark Matters. Dan describes the new album as “up.”
