The Greenstreets

The Greenstreets are an up and coming indie/alternative band with a diverse repertoire of original songs, incorporating rich piano arrangements, soaring guitar harmonies, and rock-influenced drumming with melancholic vocals and intricate chord progressions. The Greenstreets are influenced by a variety of groups/genres from the 60’s onwards and they seek to embody the aesthetic of their influences in rock/alternative music (Pink Floyd, RHCP, The Beatles, and Radiohead). Singer/songwriter Alex Ellison first met pianist George Callaghan in late 2020 while attending college and the two quickly bonded over their similar interest in music. However, it was not until late 2023 that they would meet drummer Stephen Perrillo and guitarist Santiago Cortes, together forming a close knit group and diversifying their sound through the vast breadth of their influences. In mid 2024, they would expand further with the addition of bassist Ryan Brechtlein. Since then, the band has been gigging/recording, preparing for their upcoming debut album: “By All The Fragmented Stars".
