Bas de Groot is a Dutch songwriter, musician and singer creating songs in collaboration with some of his talented friends.
Writing about everyday things such as love, losses, dreams and fears, but also bigger issues such as poverty, power and war, the guys behind the Hairless Pets try to tell the many stories that connect all people in one way or the other. Or whatever small thing keeps them up at night.
The music goes into different directions, such as big rock arrangements, but can also be radio friendly pop, or fragile and calm. Inspired by many different artists from various era’s, the songs don’t fit one genre and they are all about trying new things every time. Enjoy!
