The Hostile Redemption was a pop punk band hailing from Houston, Texas officially formed in 2017. After releasing the singles “Run Away” and “B.U.M.U.R.” in 2018, the band recorded and released their debut EP “Reflections” on September 28th, 2019. Members included Blake Hill, Joxe Alejandro, Kevin Robb, Adrian De Los Cobos, and Jacob Cardinal.
The Hostile Redemption was formed by lead guitarist Joxe Alejandro, lead singer Blake Hill, bassist Kevin Robb, and former drummer John Mangini. Adrian De Los Cobos, a lifelong friend of Hill, later joined as rhythm guitarist. They began regularly performing at multiple venues in Houston and Austin throughout 2018, and gained a reputation for playing energetic shows and adding popular pop punk covers to their setlists. In September of 2018, The Hostile Redemption parted ways with founding member John Mangini on good terms as he relocated to Ohio. It was announced a month later that Jacob Cardinal, a friend of members Hill and De Los Cobos, would be joining as the drummer.
“Reflections” was recorded at Murder On Tape Audio throughout April of 2019. The EP was named after the lyrical content on the tracks.
They performed with Saving Abel in April, and Lit in June of 2021.
On October 3rd, 2021, The Hostile Redemption announced an indefinite hiatus.
