The Inevitables is an art and music project based on a group of nobodies trying to save the world. However, the creators are far from nobodies. Spearheaded by multi-faceted creator, Vinnie Fiorello, the world building extends far beyond music into a multi-medium adventure including a full length album and 22 page single issue comic that crosses the bridge through the gray area between the haves and have nots.
Musically it’s a blend of ska, reggae, and punk rock that reflects the gritty soundtrack of the working class and the cultural melting pot that is the city of Ft Lauderdale. As far as the story, it takes place in the not-so-distant future when Big Pharma has been able to produce a “cure for death.” Of course there’s a big number on the price tag that reflects such a coveted item. Just like the bridge itself, it further divides the mega wealthy from the working class. It’s about time they get a reality check that playing God has consequences and death is inevitable.
