The Jane Does were formed by cousins Rebecca Halley and Joanne Bennett, born out of a post covid re-evaluation and need to reclaim their creative voices. Guitarist Matt Allison (Spurs for Jesus, The Hazlewoods, Lawn Smell) has been a core part of the outfit since its early days, helping to create their distinct sound. Rooted in Sydneys early punk scene they craft punk-pop grit and hook -filled, real life stories. With drummer Tim Savage (Fykes Device, Boxing with Ghosts, Major and the Fire) The Jane Does are loud, melodic and unapologetically here.
