A combination of traditional Jewish folk, crime-jazz and hyper active polka results in the quirky, cocktail mix otherwise known as The Kabalas. With their additional inspiration brought on by the comedic troupe of The Marx Brothers and The Three Stooges, Dionysus Records released The Kabalas first double album Martinis & Bagels in 1996. The next year, the EP Eye of Zohar came out also on Dionysus, followed by Time Tunnel in 1999. ~ Mike DaRonco, Rovi
