Introducing THE KAIZENS, a direct blast of raw Alternative Indie Rock that’s as infectious as it is heartfelt.
The band originate from a small seaside town in South Devon. The Kaizens was created by front man Tom Bushin when inspired by watching a <a href="spotify:artist:4Z8W4fKeB5YxbusRsdQVPb" data-name="Radiohead">Radiohead</a> concert in 2015.
Knowing no other musicians or anyone in the industry, he quickly turned to the internet to seek out other like-minded musicians with big ambitions.
With an amalgamation of genres, the band's sound manages to bring thoughts of early <a href="spotify:artist:2qk9voo8llSGYcZ6xrBzKx" data-name="Kings of Leon">Kings of Leon</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:2cGwlqi3k18jFpUyTrsR84" data-name="The Verve">The Verve</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4gzpq5DPGxSnKTe4SA8HAU" data-name="Coldplay">Coldplay</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:7243txmysJ4KbRmH8UAMKO" data-name="The Amazons">The Amazons</a> to mind but is still unique.
The band's early growing success led to a headline show at Plymouth Pavilions, South West's biggest arena-sized venue. In previous years, acts such as Muse, Arctic Monkeys, and Kanye West have played there.
The Kaizens have been featured many times on BBC Introducing and have even had their single <a href="spotify:album:4d5MEBWzzKfFahfnluQZMD" data-name="Fallout">Fallout</a> played on the reality TV series Made In Chelsea.
Unsigned and unmanaged, the boys' pure dedication and ambition have taken them all over the UK, playing gigs and festivals with Razorlight, Scouting For Girls, Toploader, and Coasts, to name a few.
In 2021, The Kaizens entered an indefinite hiatus.
