Courtyards are a band who met at uni in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. With an encompassing quality, their sound has been described as 'panoramic indie-rock quick to blow away the cobwebs' - Indie Midlands.

Since their days as humble uni freshers, Courtyards have debuted festivals including Kendal Calling, Live at Leeds, Blackthorn Festival & The Alternative Escape as well as touring up and down the country from Brighton to Glasgow, making noise labelled "ready for the step to festival main stages" - The Emergence. In their short time as a band, Courtyards have ticked off some pretty iconic venues, including their most recent appearance at Etihad Stadium before Man City v Aston Villa in the Premier League.

The boys are no stranger to radio play either, with extensive support from BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio along the way. Latest single 'Stay Up' has received acclaim from BBC Introducing in West Yorkshire, as well as landing huge Spotify playlists such as 'Indie Friday' and 'alexrainbirdMusic' alongside blog acclaim for it's "driving choruses, smooth transitions and catchy lyrics" - It's All Indie.

Courtyards are busy working on some exciting things for 2020, including lots of new material and a UK tour, reaching places the boys have never been before.

“Courtyards music is huge. Bloody huge. Go and see Courtyards even if you don't like indie rock.” - Local Sound Focus
