The birth of the Kennedy Choir dates back to May 1983. The initiative for its creation arose during a motivating dialogue with Dr. Cristina Herrera Filas, Dean of the University Extension Department and Mr. Raúl Fritzsche, responding to coinciding artistic concerns of students and the academic sector. Fifteen students begin by singing popular songs that outline their repertoire, which today identifies it as representative of popular choral music.
