The Last Concorde is Jordi and Xavier Godàs, two brothers from Badalona (Spain) that love synthesizers, John Carpenter soundtracks, Stranger Things and the film Drive. They create electronic music based on nostalgic sounds and melodies that will take you back to 1984's most hedonist and cinematic experiences. Just try popping one of their cassettes in your walkman and riding your BMX to the nearest retro gaming arcade!
Like producers College, Timecop1983 and The Midnight, The Last Concorde share a personally-styled mix of NuDisco, Retrowave and Italo which makes them unique and has allowed them to become part of the international Retrowave scene, performing in festivals in London, Helsinki and Barcelona.
Their self-titled debut was released in 2020 by respected synthwave label Outland Recordings, with the single "Last Call" entering NewRetroWave's Top25. Subsequent albums Dream Machine (2021) and Flashback (2023) have also been released through Outland Recordings.
In their efforts to create and expand on the Synthwave scene in Spain, Jordi and Xavier have curated the Ona Electronica Music Festival, exclusive to the genre in the country.
The Last Concorde are currently working on a Gira d'Italia-inspired Italo Synth album.
