Formed in Allentown PA in late 1964, by 1965 THE LIMITS were playing all over the Lehigh Valley..frat parties, teen clubs, school dances. Chris, Rook, Beau Jones (jones bros) Rick Levy, Irwing Goldberg, Jack Schaffer..honed their skills with constant gigs and rehearsals.
THE LIMITS GARAGE NUGGETS 65-68 is a compilation of the early LIMITS..live, rehearsal, studio and first attempts at songwriting. Rave reviews Shindig, Ugly Things, Mohair Sweets, and more.
In late 70s THE LIMITS reformed w Levy, Beau Jones, Hub Willson and Pete Smoyer and former
Luxury Records..recording several lps, eps and singles with worldwide licenses. SONGS ABOUT GIRLS is a compilation of the best of their vinyl.
RICK LEVY has gone on to perform with and manage artists including Jay & the Techniques,
Hermans Hermits, Tommy Roe, Freddy Cannon, and currently performs w THE BOX TOPS. In 2014 Levy received the Lehigh Valley Music Award Lifetime Achievement and the Penna Governors Award for Lifetime Achievement.
