Formed in 2015, The Lo-Fi’s is a band based New Jersey and New York which consists of drummer Pedro Veras, vocals / bass Justin Viant, and guitarist Phil Navarro. Prior to releasing any material the band would undergo an abrupt line up change that left the band looking for a new direction. To round out the roster guitarist Phil Navarro and bassist Justin Viant brought in drummer Pedro Veras and threw their old songs in favor for a new sound. Months of writing, rehearsing and playing just about anywhere they could they released their most recent EP “The Movement of Speed”. The 4-song EP was recorded live in Jersey City and is a raw lens of the band’s intensity, cohesiveness and subtlety. The Ep is an alt/ indie rock record with hints of new post punk and pop. With its focused reverberating guitar riffs, flavorful bass lines, and punchy grooves The Movement of Speed would be the bands first EP release on Spotify and iTunes.
