An Allegory about Folk music duo The Lost Pilgrims:
Wade Jefferson (Canada) and River Larson (Scotland)—prove that some paths are destined to cross.
The two first met on Spain's Camino de Santiago, where their hiking guitar and mandolin created magic under starlit skies. They parted ways, believing their encounter was a fleeting moment of serendipity—until two years later, at Machu Picchu in Peru, they met again entirely by chance.
This time, they were joined by Callia, a mysterious young woman from Mount Helicon, Greece, who sang haunting harmonies with them by the campfire. She spoke of her pilgrimages and her plans to walk St. Olavsleden to Norway’s Nidaros Cathedral the following summer. On the third morning, she vanished, leaving only her hauntingly beautiful voice in their memories.
Enchanted and inspired, Wade and River journeyed to St. Olavsleden together, hoping to find her. Instead, they encountered an innkeeper who revealed that Callia had returned home, terminally ill. Heartbroken, the duo swore to honour her through their music.
