The Madrigal are a Band from Waterford , Ireland. Originally active in the 1990's The Madrigal performing amazing Live shows with their mix of psychedelic progressive rock and Celtic fusion. Disbanding in the late 1990's and branching out into bands such as The Butterfly Band and Julia Dream. In 2016 two founding members <a href="spotify:artist:7xEvCkun3j5YBee3yIMbty" data-name="Micko Roche">Micko Roche</a> and Tommy Keating collaborated to resurrect the original music of The Madrigal , breathing new life into songs over 25 years old. The new electronic approach embraces the Balearic atmosphere with chilled out beats and acoustic guitars provided by <a href="spotify:artist:7xEvCkun3j5YBee3yIMbty" data-name="Micko Roche">Micko Roche</a> replacing the heavily distorted guitars of old. The Flute remains a signature sound of The Madrigal played by Tommy with excellent skill. With four single releases to date and a feature of the highly respected <a href="spotify:artist:1uJe4fneWozCnJIPmFgjzk" data-name="Balearic">Balearic</a> compilation series the future looks bright for The Madrigal.
