The Mary Onettes are Swedish dream-pop stalwarts blending melancholic melodies, cinematic textures, and heartfelt songwriting. Formed in Jönköping in 2000, the band rose to international recognition with their self-titled debut in 2007, earning praise from Pitchfork, Stereogum, and The Guardian. Known for their lush, nostalgic sound, they’ve released a string of acclaimed albums and singles, with their music featured in shows like 'Grey’s Anatomy' and most recently Netflix Japan’s 'First Love' (2022), which sparked a global rediscovery of their work. After a few quiet years, the band returned in 2023–24 with a series of new singles—'Easy Hands', 'Forever Before Love', and 'What I Feel In Some Places'—signaling a new chapter ahead of their upcoming 2025 album.
