The Mellon Bank started out in 1996, through Giusex (vocals and bass) and Ted (backing vocals and guitars). Bonettu is the latest behind the drumset in a long series of line up changes. The trio, which admittedly shares a fascination for vintage / fuzzed out sounds, plays a loud punky roll influenced by the likes of "<a href="spotify:artist:1co4F2pPNH8JjTutZkmgSm" data-name="Ramones">Ramones</a>, "<a href="spotify:artist:3a9cSOmXeX3S8Tosfy9Dwv" data-name="The Fleshtones">The Fleshtones</a>, "<a href="spotify:artist:7K6wJOrOFaXgH87C1BNjp0" data-name="The Barracudas">The Barracudas</a> and "<a href="spotify:artist:4fSPtBgFPZzygkY6MehwQ7" data-name="The Libertines">The Libertines</a>.
The band comes off a lenghty series of demos and albums. 2008 is the year of release for their EP, entitled WHO CARES ABOUT ROCK N ROLL?, which features seven tracks of hard-kicking punky anthems recorded, edited and mastered at the CRIMSON DOME STUDIOS. In 2016 the band republished the album "s/t"
