Militia hails from the SF Bay Area. Active from 1987-1991, and again in 2010-2011. In the late 80’s early 90’s militia was active within the sf Bay Area thrash scene. Supporting bands such as Death Angel, Vio-Lence, Forbidden, Metal Church, and Sanctuary. They recorded and released two demos that were widely distributed. In 2010 Stormspell released these recordings in the form of a five song album titled “Fiend of Misery”. The band briefly reformed to record one more single “Seeing Red” was released to digital sales only in 2011
