The Monster Inside is a four piece metalcore/post hardcore studio project established in 2015 from Houston, Texas, with the band consisting of Scott Quinn, Kaleb Eddy, Casey Buentello and Chad Rousseau. The band’s debut single, A Place I Use To Know, was produced, mixed and mastered by Robert Joyner of Black Book Sound in Houston, TX in the Spring of 2016.
After seeing the single do well, the band traveled to New Orleans, Louisiana to begin writing and recording their debut EP, The War Within Us, with producer Jonathan Dolese of Konkrete Studios in mid 2018, with the album being released in the fall of 2018. On the heels of The War Within Us came the bands next single in 2020 entitled My Mark, also produced by Dolese. The band continued to write and record with Dolese and Joyner in the next three years, and after some personal hardships and needing to take some time away, the band has since announced their newest music with the release of their newest single, Final Breath, for a December 2023 release date with new music continuing into 2024. The Monster Inside brings you classic metal and post hardcore elements, bringing you sounds from the heavy to the lighter, pop rock vibes and everything in between as to appease a broad audience of listeners.
