Hailing from the streets of Miami Beach, comes Viscaya; A quartet of young musicians ready to take on the current metalcore scene. Inspired by metalcore and post hardcore acts of the last decade, four long time friends - vocalist Daniel Restrepo, drummer Lorenzo Tedesco, guitarist Max Kruczek, and bassist/vocalist Joseph Trentacosta - come together to deliver their vision of today’s metal. Utilizing the power of upbeat tempos, raw breakdowns reminiscent of 2000’s metalcore, and a variety of robust screams; Viscaya’s proven to be a force to be reckoned with.
With the release of their first EP “<a href="spotify:album:7DEEVViApeOMnqmF4RkW2c" data-name="There's No Sin in Sincerity">There's No Sin in Sincerity</a>”, in mid 2019, Viscaya went on to dominate live shows throughout the next few years. Having performed live with the likes of <a href="spotify:artist:3FffC7t4yWwOUr0S5fFbkW" data-name="Danny Worsnop">Danny Worsnop</a> of <a href="spotify:artist:1caBfBEapzw8z2Qz9q0OaQ" data-name="Asking Alexandria">Asking Alexandria</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3Ri4H12KFyu98LMjSoij5V" data-name="Bad Omens">Bad Omens</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4tEWLl4loWFLgs25trNnro" data-name="Betraying The Martyrs">Betraying The Martyrs</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1GkXxneFQE4d5YTsrbN6Ya" data-name="Traitors">Traitors</a>, and more, Viscaya has shown they're willing to give up everything to advance to the top of the music industry and have their voices heard.
Having persevered through haunting life experiences, the guys of Viscaya continue to use their memoirs to shape and evolve their sound in hopes the therapeutic nature that writing brings them can translate into a remedy for those facing struggles themselves.
