Continuously proving themselves as one of Australia’s premiere Alt Pop exports. The Montreals incorporate R&B hooks, So-Cal rock, and a dash of disco blended into your favourite smoothie. The stand alone singles ‘deadheads’ and ‘Y2K’ were positively received nationally and internationally, cartwheeling the line between polished and raucous, with both attracting multiple radio plays on Triple J (Australia) and KCRW (United States). Collectively, their music has clocked well over 5 million streams on Spotify and been consistently added on coveted international playlists including Fresh Finds, New Music Friday, and The Office Stereo to name a few.

The Montreals received nods from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, opening for them to over 40,000 patrons, as well as performing at Groovin The Moo Festival. A national tour support with Kingswood also saw the band play sold out dates across Australia. The band then took on their first international festivals at Live En Aout in New Caledonia, in addition to 2 features on Netflix’s Terrace House in Japan.
