The danish surfband named The Naked Girls was founded in 2000, Løkken, Denmark.
The idea was to rehearse and record instrumental tunes inspired by a selection of surf music's absolute peak performers. Rehearsing got out of hand and the band started performing on live stages for the crowds. The band ended their career in autumn 2008 after recording the single named 'The Naked Girl'.
