The Natrolites are a group of musicians that have been friends and bandmates since highschool. The band consists of lead singer/guitarist and keyboardist, Matt Taylor, drummer Dan Nicoletti, and bassist Dan Risi. The music genre of the band is a mixture of 80's based funk with an energetic indie/alternative twist that keeps the audience on their feet. 2017 saw the release of their self produced E.P 'Paint me a picture' and a weekly online social media campaign called #talkboxtuesday which featured singer Matt Taylor using a talk box for vocals. It garnered the band a large boost in viewership. Fans tuned in to hear their funky, 'Daft Punk style' covers of some top 40 songs, the act becoming somewhat of a staple for the band while playing live. The band reside in Canada but have spent a lot of time recording and playing in both New York City and Los Angeles. In 2017, The Natrolites also won The John Lennon songwriting contest in the electronic category for their song "Live to love".
