The Odyssey

The Odyssey is a six piece Progressive/Alternativr Rock group from Spring City, PA. Forming in middle school by Carson Bispels on guitar and Chase Pendleton on Drums under the name Reflex the group needed a bass player and found one through a social media post by Pendleton in Jake King, whom had known Chase from school. These three had remained in the band through various lineup changes until the addition of Wyeth Casperite on vocals and shortly after joined by Alina Dowdalls on guitar and backing vocals. This lineup began to shift from a cover band to writing their own original material, starting with the singles Time Will Stop and Ballad of Mirrors in the spring of 2016. The Odyssey then began a collaborative work on a concept album as the band's official debut work. Ring of The Abyss Runner was recorded in the Winter of 2017 and released that following July. Shortly after the album's release, Alina Dowdalls had left the band and was replaced by Declan Fisher on both guitar and backing vocals. Jake King shortly after began to work on backing vocals as well. Starting the the winter of 2018 The Odyssey began work on their second album to be released at a later date.
