The young Swedish rock export The Old News mixes songwriting skills from old influences together with the everyday problems of today’s young adults. They released their first single “LAST TRAIN” and the album “ANYHOW” in 2017.
The Old News was signed by Rexius Records late summer 2016. They are influenced by songwriters that has something to say, write honest lyrics and catches a feeling. Songwriters such as <a href="spotify:artist:0oSGxfWSnnOXhD2fKuz2Gy" data-name="David Bowie">David Bowie</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3eqjTLE0HfPfh78zjh6TqT" data-name="Bruce Springsteen">Bruce Springsteen</a> and Van McCann . The result is songs for independent young human beings who go their own way.
The Old News as a project was ended in 2018 and some of the members created <a href="spotify:artist:3ecg6o3jtpA5CkADIXEdv6" data-name="The Telegram">The Telegram</a>.
