An oscillating collective of musicians, The Olés have carved out a niche sound that continues to evolve with each release. In 2018 Olés teamed up with Rebelution's Wes Finley to produce their sophomore album, Rise. The album was well received, with Richie DeMaria of the SB Independent writing: "Of the many promising West Coast reggae hybrid bands to rise out of Isla Vista, few have shone so brightly or grown as strongly as The Olés. […] With Rise, they show they’re a musical powerhouse with which to be reckoned."

Cutting their teeth at Isla Vista house parties, The Olés have played across the U.S. - from Colorado to New York, and from Washington back down to SoCal - sharing stages with the likes of Rebelution, Don Carlos, Passafire, HIRIE, Katchafire, and Mad Caddies. From the Monterrey fairgrounds at the California Roots Music and Art Festival, to the dim lighting of the studio back in Santa Barbara, The Olés have been on a journey to use their sound to connect and inspire people.
