The Overlanders formed in Whanganui, New Zealand in 1959. Initially comprising brothers Harold and Tommy Bates, Neville Cowley, Tom McDermott and Ian Morgan, The Overlanders underwent numerous line-up changes before disbanding in 1962. The record two EPs and one LP for HMV.
