Originally formed in 2020 as a back-up band to artist Joy Xande, The Peace Option have finally put together an album of their own. Moving across the spectrum between rock and jazz, The Peace Option's main focus is on the songwriting. Songs on the record attack subjects such as the wealth gap, invasive species, drug and alcohol addiction, postpartum depression, natural resource mismanagement, murder, tyranny, and death - all with an arch, and often devilish, sense of humour. Be warned - TPO writes stealth material. The song you are singing along to may not mean exactly what you think it means!
