The Pit was formed in 2021 by a mix of surfers and skaters, to play heavy music in Santa Barbara.

Thunder and Disco serve as the bands yin and yang of pop and metal. A cacophony of heavy riffs relieved by beautiful and catchy choruses. A band that finds great pleasure dancing between those two extremes.

They take their name from the local surf break, and a shared love of a good mosh pit. They continue to define their style and sound, their shows a journey of fiery licks, booming harmonies, guttural growls, and nectary vocals.
