The Pitt began in an unexpected way. During her internship, Esma, the lead vocalist, was working with another musician, but after some issues in that collaboration, she had to quickly assemble a band to successfully complete her internship. Her musical friends came to her aid, and that’s how The Pitt was formed. Despite the pressure of the situation, the musical chemistry between the band members was immediately apparent. After successfully completing the internship, they decided to stay together and continue playing.
Although the band members are all actively involved in their own projects, (Esma with <a href="spotify:artist:7v0XTInSGgHeRAoe109Gt8" data-name="Esca$h">Esca$h</a>, Roben as bassist with <a href="spotify:artist:3Mq18rKQ2LQQKRVNkxVZTB" data-name="Suicide Prophet">Suicide Prophet</a> and Keo and Jamy both forming 2 thirds of <a href="spotify:artist:5yvFvBNNtlQLLiV6QZOreL" data-name="Crush">Crush</a>.) they decided to combine their talents and create The Pitt. The Pitt plays alternative rock music, where the diverse backgrounds of the band members result in a surprising and unique mix of styles and energy.
